Sabriel Svalina is in the Panther Spotlight this week! Sabriel is a very caring person who likes to give hugs! Sabriel always has a story to tell and she tells it with ENTHUSIASM! Sabriel has no quit. She is always working towards her end goal and getting better in class. Sabriel perseveres with nary a complaint of it being hard. Sabriel is very observant and looks out for those who are younger than her, especially at recess.

This evening our board had the great opportunity to meet with other boards from across Northeast Wyoming to connect and work together on education at the WSBA Fall Roundup. Great to be a part of such an amazing group of dedicated volunteers. #180DaysOfJoy #IgniteWY

So much good accomplished today. Our 7-12 team discussed next steps in implementation of The Writing Revolution in their classrooms, which will lead to great learning for our students. This afternoon our district steering committee met to prepare for our upcoming accreditation visit, which we are going to knock out of the park. I am excited at the work being done in the district and the continued commitment of so many great professionals to education in Eastern Sheridan County. #180DaysOfJoy

Come celebrate all of Sheridan County's fall sports athletes, band members and cheerleaders at The Sheridan Press Aug. 30. The community is invited to start the sports season in true fall fashion — including a pulled pork barbecue, yard games, band and cheer squad performances and camaraderie among all Sheridan County schools. Our Fall Sports special section — which will be available exclusively to tailgate attendees before it publishes Thursday with The Sheridan Press — is one you'll want to tack to the fridge and take with you to all of the sporting events this season. Joyful for great partnerships this morning. Today we have a fully equipped weight room thanks to the support of #SheridanCollege! As we are now offering concurrent enrollment weight lifting courses the college was able to assist in renewing our facility. It'll be ready for students on Monday! #180DaysOfJoy

Greg Rohrer is in the Panther Spotlight this week! Mr. Rohrer has had his busiest month of the year in August completing state reports, lining out our budget, and ensuring that the district is in good financial shape. In addition to this, he has been instrumental in serving a number of excellent meals for our staff as they prepared for the year. These past few days he has been busy preparing the concessions stand to serve the community as we jump into our activities for the year. Thanks, Mr. Rohrer!

Remi Cooper in in the Panther Spotlight this week! Remi actively participates in her learning. Remi is very kind-hearted and willing to do anything you put in front of her even if it is challenging. Remi is always so sweet and kind! Remi showed me how to do a sweet cartwheel and dared me to do one too. She's a lot better than me! Remi is a joy! Remi is such a joy to have in class! She has the perfect balance of respectfulness and sass all in one package. Thanks for being a great student, Remi! Remi is a sweet young lady who tries her hardest and is always happy! Always shares a smile.

Jonah Ambler is in the Panther Spotlight this week! Teachers had this to say about Jonah: Jonah is a student who has a high drive to demonstrate strong proficiency in all academic areas. He enjoys being a learning leader in the classroom. Jonah was a workhorse this week and completed all his work this week. Jonah seeks a challenge. Jonah is a hard working student with a fantastic sense of humor. He helps to support his classmates whenever he gets an opportunity. Jonah has really stepped up this year as an 8th grader. Always performing to the best of his abilities and doing what needs to be done. Jonah’s imagination is impressive.
