Casey Buhr is in the Panther Spotlight! Mr. Buhr keeps us all in school by ensuring that classrooms are clean and ready for students to learn each day. He drives routes and trips, delivering students safely to wherever they may need to be. Most important of all, he is alway there to greet you with a smile when you meet him in the hallway! Bronc Vineyard is in the Panther Spotlight! Bronc is the most kind-hearted young man I have ever met. He would be willing to give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, always thinking of others!!! From the time he was little, he has always been a "Future CEO." This (not so tiny anymore) boss, is a super hard worker with a gentle soul. Bronc is gentle, kind, and STRONG when faced with a hard "right" choice vs. an easy wrong choice. Bronc is a tough man that puts in the work and doesn't do much complaining, he's go GRIT! Bronc always takes his time. No matter if it is 10 point learning opportunity, an essay, or MAP testing, Bronc can be found thoroughly reviewing his work. Bronc is an extremely hard working, humble individual. He holds his head up high and stands tall. Bronc cares about others and doesn't hesitate to help in anyway he can.

Lyric Gorzalka is in the Panther Spotlight! Lyric has the kindest, gentlest heart. She is so coachable and a hard worker. Her determined spirit will take her far here and in life. Lyric ALWAYS greets me with a big hug! Lyric shares the best smile and always shows her genuine self. Lyric is friendly and enjoys being involved in her class and friends. Miss Lyric is as sweet as can be! She is such a joy in the classroom. She is bright, clever, and funny.

Coping with stress is something that we all deal with differently, and we are forced to do it multiple times per day. I had the great opportunity to discuss positive coping strategies with our students this afternoon. #180DaysOfJoy

Our student leaders, Kamy, Dellana and Skye, attended the annual Fall Leadership Summit in Casper. This event is sponsored by the Wyoming Association of Student Council student Executive Board. Throughout the day the students participated in leadership activities, school sharing of ideas and convention planning. Thanks for attending and for your commitment to our school!

Mrs. Grubb is in the Panther Spotlight! She made the transition into our 1/2 classroom this year and is leading her students to new heights. A leader in our implementation of Wit & Wisdom, her classroom is consistently a place of welcoming and engagement.

Continued working with some excellent partners today. Leadership Sheridan County invited us to be part of their final meeting for the current cohort. This is an amazing group of professionals dedicated to the communities of Sheridan County. The relationships we are able to forge provide opportunities for our students when looking to shadow/intern/work. The businesses of the county are tremendous in their support of education. Hank George is in the Panther Spotlight! Hank has a true passion for learning. He works to improve his knowledge base and is passionate about showing what he knows to the world, especially when it comes to freshwater marine biology! I love how Hank is always willing to answer questions and participate in class discussions. I appreciate his enthusiasm and the positive attitude he has every day! Hank always brings excitement into the classroom by using his imaginative mind and quick wits. He always has a smiling face and is ready to go to learn! Hank’s out of the box thinking livens our classroom discussions. He never shirks advocating for himself by using his resources to be successful! Plus, we love all his knowledge on fish and fishing! Hank is such an inquisitive young man. Always wants to learn more and more every day.

Grayce Bassett is in the Panther Spotlight! Grayce is a wonderful helper to her peers, will step in when needed! Grayce is a hard-worker and always willing to do the hard work to get amazing results. When she is struggling she is always willing to ask questions and figure out how to be successful. Way to go, Grayce!!! Grayce “Grumpy Gills” Bassett is a teachers dream. Always does what she needs to in a timely fashion.
