Joy has to come from the personal side of things, once in a while. Friday morning I ended a long moose hunting season, with my Dad by my side - I am grateful for the mentoring that I received growing up so that I am who I am today! #180DaysOfJoy

Our accreditation visit went splendidly, I was joyful to have our staff participate in a question and answer session with the board afterward. Hoping to have community participate in our next listening session! #180DaysOfJoy

Audy Hackett is in the Panther Spotlight! Audy enthusiastically includes others during recess and shares his excitement freely! Audy McCoy is one of my favorite Panthers. He has such a big kind heart and a big motor. He is cowboy to the soul. This boy is going places. I can’t wait to see where! Audy is a quick witted little guy and has the biggest heart. Audy is a very kind-hearted young man. He looks out for all of his classmates and tries hard at everything he does. He is a joy to have in class. Keep up the hard work Audy!! Audy is a resourceful and talented individual who is always willing to lend a hand to help others. Audy is very kind and works well with his classmates. He works hard and has the DRIVE to be successful. I appreciate his strong verbal skills and his willingness to listen. Congratulations AUDY! #PantherSpotlight

Natalie Stoll is in the Panther Spotlight. Natalie is an absolute joy to have in class. She’s a student that always puts forth great effort and performs at a high level in any unit we are in. But the best thing about Natalie is that she takes sarcasm almost as well as she dishes it #60. Natalie makes significant contributions to our school with a calm and easy going demeanor on the outside masking an energy filled intensity to succeed on the inside. Natalie is a great leader in the school and makes you smile. Natalie has taken on leadership roles when asked to do so and was a great representative of the student body for the accreditation visit! Natalie's sense of humor and sarcasm bring much needed laughter to our classroom at random times. When absent, she joined flex time voluntarily and communicated with me to ensure her learning progressed. Within the classroom, she has stepped up to complete the do nows and exit tickets in a timely manner to further her learning. #PantherSpotlight

The junior high and high school students read with the elementary today for Flex. The elementary kids love spending time with the "big kids" and had a blast this afternoon! Thank you for taking the time to read with our youngest panthers.

Joyful to welcome an excellent team from around the state today to provide feedback on the good work in our district. Don't forget to join us in the multi-purpose room tomorrow at 2:00 for their report out and our community listening session.

Students in elementary are learning how to speak collaboratively. They are working hard to seamlessly exchange information and discuss topics as a class to achieve common goals! Our students are amazing!

Students were able to take in some Shakespeare this morning, thanks to Buffalo High School for the invite. #180DaysOfJoy

On October 25 at 2:00, SCSD#3 will receive feedback from the visiting accreditation team. Immediately following, the board will host a listening session, where the community is invited to discuss topics of interest with the board and administration. All are welcome and invited.

Liam Ramsay is in the Panther Spotlight! Liam is a hard working, caring person. He wants to learn and tries new things. He is very knowledgeable and shares his ideas. Good job Liam! Liam creatively and accurately contributes to a variety of settings whether it be writing, discussing, or performing. He will be missed! Liam is a bright young man! His love of reading is an inspiration, and the joy shown on his face when talking about his love is fantastic!

Jonah Ramsay is in the Panther Spotlight! Jonah is a leader in the classroom. He willingly participates and wants to learn. Good job Jonah! Jonah has a lively excitement and energy in his learning. He is eager to share with others, and his classmates appreciate him and will miss him. Jonah is kind, thoughtful, and has a great sense of humor! He is a hard worker and enjoys being challenged academically. Comedian. Soccer player extraordinaire. Mathematician. Those are just a few words that describe our Jonah. He is the sweetest little man with a GIANT heart.

Mrs. Poppenga is in the Panther Spotlight! 'Care' is the word for Mrs. P. She orchestrates the day at A-C; from ensuring that classes are covered and all are fed to taking care of the every last detail until she takes off way too late every evening, she cares for everyone in our community. Each of our jobs, whether student or staff, is made easier every day by the detail orientation that Mrs. P exhibits. A-C is a better place for having her.

Julianna Pehringer is in the Panther Spotlight. Julianna is a joy to have in class. She is excited to learn and challenges herself to create high quality work. Julianna has a natural knack for acting. Her ability to perform the play, novel, or reading makes our classroom more energized! Also, she likens concepts to the real world very well. Julianna is a fun and friendly person. She brings happiness to the classroom. She is willing to try new things and works hard. Good job Julianna! Julianna is one of the most driven learners I know! She rises to challenges, uses her support system to be successful, and holds her learning to a high standard. Julianna is a hard-working student, she is willing to put the work in to grow and be successful! Julianna has such a bright sparkly personality. She is so coachable and hard working. I loved having her in class!
