Much progress was made this week on our parking lots. The parking lots torn out consisted of cracked asphalt, poorly installed, over a base of soil that had become saturated to a point of having lost structural integrity. The new parking lots will be 6" of concrete poured over 6" of crushed aggregate base. The lots will provide safe parking and access to the building for years to come. This large project is being funded with major maintenance funds - those provided the school district to care for our facilities by the state facilities commission.
