Rylee Olsen is in the Panther Spotlight! 🐾 Rylee is a pleasure to have in class! She has a science and engineering mind, and is incredible with any type of hands-on learning that requires her to think outside of the box. Rylee Olson is so great with our elementary students. She has such a kind heart. Rylee displays great conflict resolution skills. During a disagreement, she didn't back down, but she resolved the issue by asking in a different way, which kept her learning going. Daily, Rylee comes to class ready to learn! Rylee has grown so much in letting her personality shine. She continues to show grit in everything she does. Rylee is quiet in voice, but loud in hard work. She’s not afraid to step up and put in the work to get better. Her work ethic in the new junior high strength and conditioning class has been so impressive so far this year.

Honor Roll
Mrs. Betz is in the Panther Spotlight! 🐾 Mrs. Betz wears many hats within the district. She is a social studies teacher, activities director, member of our district steering committee and dean of students, as well as a mother. She is highly organized, allowing her to accomplish each of these roles. This week she was hard at work setting athletic schedules with other 1A AD's in Casper. The times of year when activities let up a little tend to be the busiest for an AD - all of the planning. Mrs. Betz supports our students well and ensures a safe learning environment at A-C!

Shelby Northup is in the Panther Spotlight! 🐾 Shelby comes down during flex time to help out as a teacher's aide. She is so kind and sweet with the kids and willing to do anything that is asked of her. We love having her in our classroom. When tasked with a challenge, Shelby smiles and says, "Well let's go". She stays organized by updating her planner, and she is a great big sister! Shelby always greets you with a smile in the hallway. I appreciate her upbeat attitude and willingness to help out! Shelby brings energy into class discussions. She has a willingness to try new and difficult things, which represents what it means to be a panther. I love how Shelby is always willing to try new things and get out of her comfort zone. She is a great addition to the freshmen class!

Our instructional framework has had our teachers working hard this year, and it shows every day. Here, students are singing along to a song teaching them the seven continents as a do-now for their social studies class. Students are up, active, and learning. Great things happening at A-C! #180DaysOfJoy

Witnessing the gains our students are showing this year in literacy is inspiring! The students are working hard every day to become great writers and readers. Today, this manifested in a discussion of the difference between a metaphor and a simile. #180DaysOfJoy

Will Betz is the 7-12 student of the month! Will works hard in all of his classes and has really stepped up as a leader this year. He's taking more responsibility in the classroom, and doing more work than he ever has. His attitude toward school has vastly improved. In my classroom, he is always engaged and willing to do what needs to be done. Outside of the classroom, he is well respected by the student body and is a natural leader, even though he doesn't want to be. His peers gravitate toward him and he's been an excellent role model for our younger students.

In addition to the ease with which she accomplishes that role, she has been working to master 4th grade ELA and math as well. Mrs. McTaggart is a leader in our school - serving on our district steering committee and helping to drive growth at SCSD#3.
