Congratulations to our graduates!
We are hiring!
Thank you, Mr. Rohrer, for bringing our literature to life! He graciously made jambalaya, fried okra, collard greens, and beignets for a mid-morning snack! We read all about this delicious food, and today, we tasted it!

Amazing opportunity for elementary students to work with our high school students and learn some skills!
Big time congratulations are in order for Miss Teegan Olsen as she was voted as our #SourcesOfStrength K-6 student of the month for the month of April! Here is what Teegan's nominating teacher had to say:
Teegan is an outstanding student that always does things the Panther way. Just a few examples of her doing things the Panther way include but are not limited to:
1. Standing up for others.
2. Always telling the truth.
3. Always gives it her 100%
These also happen to be traits included in the Eight Keys of Excellence. That is what Teegan is, excellent.
Congrats, Teegan! Well deserved!
We have our first ever Co-Students of the month! Not only due to being tied in votes, but because they are both very deserving. Congratulations to Trevor Martinez and Tessa Christianson for being named as students of the month for the month of April! Here is what their nominating teachers had to say: Trevor: Trevor is respectful and considerate of others, but he is also able to call students out for inappropriate or disrespectful behavior. He is a leader among the students and sets a great example for others to follow. Tessa: Tessa may not always get her work turned in on time, but she always ends up getting it turned in in the long run. Looking forward, Tessa is carefully planning for her future and making sure to get the most out of her classes next year by signing up for multiple college-level courses. I have also witnessed a massive amount of drive and grit from her. Not every day, as we all have off days, but on her good days (which is the majority of days) she is the hardest worker in the room. It is near impossible to beat this kid when she puts her nose to the grindstone.
The 5th and 6th graders joined Jerry Csaki from the NFL Hall of Fame via Zoom during ACES. He talked with them about the hundreds of career opportunities with the NFL!
